With the NBA Playoffs starting tomorrow, April 16th, Cleveland Cavaliers’ All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving will don a new variation of his Nike Kyrie 2, dubbed the “Crossover.”

Essentially a tribute to his prowess and ability to penetrate defenses on the game floor, the model flaunts a predominantly white palette with a hypnotizing graphic applied on the midfoot strap in contrasting orange and black.

Additional tonal black hits grace the tongue, laces and portions of its rear, while an orange/black branded tongue tab finishes off the design.

You can purchase a pair at select Nike accounts on Saturday, May 14th.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the model in general. This colorway is pretty solid. I like the clean white/black upper and how the eye-catching element is only placed on the strap.
